Hawaii Tax 17.962% — Transient Accommodation Tax (TAT) of 10.25%, Maui County Transient Accommodation Tax (MCTAT) of 3%, and the new General Excise Tax of 4.712% (Effective: 01-01-2024).

Tax rates are set by the State of Hawaii and are subject to change without notice. Should the tax rate be increased prior to your arrival, you are responsible for the difference which will be added to your reservation amount balance due.

RENTAL POLICY:
- Rates quoted in US dollars,
All monies payable in US Dollars - Minimum stay 5 nights and must begin or end next to an existing reservation
– (7 nights in high season — 12 nights in holiday season)
– Less than 7 nights add $10 to nightly rate.- Reservation Requirement (within 7 days):
- 1- $400 deposit is required within 7 days for confirming and securing your reservation. ($600 for 28+ days reservation)
- 2- The name of each guest, your mailing address, and telephone numbers (home and cell)
- 3- Your Rental agreement signed and returned within 7 days
- Please Note:Your reservation is Not secured until we receive your deposit.
- Remaining Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival
- A $300 Refundable Security/Damage Deposit – is due with final payment
- $165 Cleaning Fee
- $30 Castle Mgmt fees
- $40 Resort Registration
- Check in time is 3 pm or later
- Check out time is by 11 am
LATE CHECK OUT POLICY:
Late check out will provide you with condo access until evening (must be approved prior to receiving final payment)
Fees for Late out: High Season is 1 daily rental fee and Low Season 1/2 daily rental fee
PAYMENT POLICY:
- Payments accepted by: Checks, Money Order, Credit Card or direct deposit into our Wells Fargo account using online transfer, Zelle, or with a bank teller.
- Outside the US, a Money Orders (Canadian Bank Draft) in US Dollars obtained at your local bank
- Credit Cards are accepted and processed thru PayPal at no additional cost (no fees)
- * FREE, No Fees with Pay Pal when using monies within your account or linked to your bank account or use method sending money to Friends/Relatives.
- Bank wire of funds – additional fee of $16.00
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Guest are STRONGLY encouraged to purchase travel insurance to protect against loss in case of the need to cancel / revise travel plans.
- $100 cancellation fee if cancelled 60 or more days prior to scheduled arrival
- Payments are non-refundable if cancellation is within 60 days of scheduled arrival date
- Cancellation on or after arrival or early departure does not warrant any refund – all funds forfeited
Fairness Clause: If the unit can be re-rented, a prorated refund will be issued.
REFUNDABLE SECURITY DAMAGE DEPOSIT POLICY:
The refundable security deposit of $300 is fully refundable if the condo is left in good order and the keys are returned to the lock box ($60 fee for any lost keys).
Additional charges may be incurred for any breakage, damage, missing items or housekeeping charges beyond normal use, such as excessive laundry, unwashed dishes, un-emptied trash, or additional cleaning required.
The deposit refund, less any deductions, will be mailed within 14-28 days of check-out or returned via Pay Pal if reservation payment was made by credit card. Refund will be determined by inspection provided by our housekeeper after your departure.
This is a “Non Smoking” unit Including Lanai. Pets are not allowed.
